They say the more is always the merrier, especially with friends, right? But what if they are coming over but you don’t know how to prepare a meal for such a large number of people?

They shared another quick and easy bread recipe that’s right for any sudden gathering of a large group. This will save you from a kitchen nightmare because you can achieve it in just a matter of seven easy steps.

Not only is this bread recipe is quick and easy, but it’s also lowcost!

The main ingredient of this is just some slices of bread- 12 slices to be exact!

Hurry up and gather all these ingredients.

Main ingredients:

  • 12 slices white bread
  • 10 oz shredded Swiss cheese

For the egg coating, you’ll need the following:

  • 18 eggs
  • 3 tablespoon of heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • ⅓ cup of flour
  • salt & pepper

And for the toppings:

  • 1 tomato (diced)
  • ½ cup of crumbled feta cheese
  • ⅓ cup of sliced black olives
  • ½ yellow bell pepper (diced)
  • 2 pieces of hot dogs (diced)
  • 1 piece of scallion (cut into rings)
  • 2 oz of bacon (chopped)
  • 1 oz of mushrooms (sliced)
  • 3 oz of cheddar cheese

Once you’re all set with the ingredients above, you’re now ready to nail this bread recipe.

Step Number One: Preheat your oven to 400°F then put the 12 slices of white bread in an upright position using an oven rack and toast them for 5 minutes. Remove them from the oven and reduce the temperature down to 325°F.

Step Number Two: Put 6 slices of white bread in a deep baking pan and evenly spread some Swiss cheese on top of the toasted pieces of bread. Then put the remaining toasted slices of bread on top of the shredded Swiss cheese. Set aside.

Step Number Three: Grab a mixing bowl, it’s time to make the egg coating. Put the eggs, heavy cream, baking powder, and flour into the bowl. Season them with salt and pepper, mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients well. Once done, pour the egg mixture onto the Swiss cheese-stuffed slices of bread.

Step Number Four: Now for the toppings, group them into 3 types. One is the diced tomatoes, feta cheese, and sliced olives, the second is the chopped mushrooms, fried bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese, and lastly is diced bell pepper, chopped up hot dogs, and a scallion.

Step Number Five: After grouping the toppings, put each group of toppings evenly on the toasted slices of bread. You have 6, that means the first set of toppings goes to 2, the second set of toppings goes to 2, and the third set of toppings goes to 2. Make sure not to put the same toppings on neighboring slices.

Step Number Six: Put it back in the oven and bake it for 25 minutes. When the time is up, remove it and let it cool down for a couple of minutes.

Step Number Seven: Cut the final product into pieces, according to your preference. Enjoy!
