Sweet treats are a big hit, especially this holiday season where a hot cup of chocolate can warm you up during these freezing cold days. Talking about chocolate, it is probably one of the oldest and all-time favorites of people from all generations, especially when it’s taken as a dessert after a heavy meal, wouldn’t you agree?

While there are a lot of chocolate treats around the globe, nothing could ever remove chocolate fudge from the top of the list. These bite-size choco cubes are made to perfection to make them creamy and chewy on the inside.

In fact, fudge came in long before you could ever imagine. According to Wikipedia:

“Fudge originated in the US during the late 19th century. Recipes were printed in many periodicals and advertisements during the 1880s.”

“Fudge shops in tourist places such as Mackinac Island in Michigan began opening during the 1880s. In a letter written in 1921 by Emelyn Battersby Hartridge, she recounts the purchasing of a box of fudge for 40 cents a pound in 1886 in Baltimore, Maryland.”

It’s perfect during this holiday season when kids with a sweet tooth are definitely looking forward to some tasty treats. It’s not only perfect as a dessert but also an on-the-go snack while you are on the road.

The best part about choco fudge is that you can alter or add ingredients according to your preference because the recipe doesn’t limit itself to just a certain procedure. You can be as creative as possible!

This chocolate fudge recipe only requires 2 ingredients!

  • 300 grams of dark chocolate (Semi-sweet)
  • 400 grams of condensed milk

No need to step out and buy these two, you can easily find them in your kitchen. Just the number of ingredients alone will tell you how easy this recipe is.

No need to be fancy either, the procedure is pretty simple.

Step Number One: Grab a 5 x 7 inches pan then grease it with some oil or melted butter. Put a parchment paper inside and make sure to leave an overhang on all sides, this will make taking the fudge out of the pan much easier.

The easiest way to do this is to cut two sheets of parchment and crisis cross them in the baking dish, using just a tiny bit of butter between the pan and parchment to hold the sheets in place. Also, make sure to butter the corners of the dish to minimize sticking.
