Young Cade is making quite a stir on the internet with his funny antics in the kitchen. Actually, his Instagram account was just recently made but he’s already got a whopping 222K followers! How about that for a 2-year-old?
This young fella in his little chef costume is always all hands-on in the kitchen.
You might be wondering right now if Cade is really good in the kitchen. Well, hold onto that thought for now. We will “show” you the answer in a bit.
This video in particular is his baking session with Nana.
The aspiring little chef and his grandma posted a funny video on Facebook where they’re baking some cookies. It’s the usual baking for Nana, but not for Cade.
He is quite a star of his own, with his charm and genuine silliness, you’d know that he’s either a real chef or a celebrity in the making.
We will not use the word “star” just because.
This video alone has already been shared 664K times and 181K people reacted to it. That’s a mixed reaction of likes, hearts, and laughter.
What is really making him internet famous is obvious for his age, and we want you to see the video yourself.
Let us start the baking show, shall we?
Nana brings the mixing bowl out with her ecstatic and curious assistant on the side. As she unwraps the butter, she lets out an early instruction to Cade,
“Let Nana undo it and then you can throw it in. No eating the butter though, okay?”
Why did she have to say that? Is it really an instruction or more like a warning?
The butter is in- but wait!
As he shoots the butter into the bowl, Cade gets some of the butter on his hands and naturally, a kid like him would lick it off. But if you’re thinking that this is going to be a plain and simple baking video, then you’re terribly mistaken.
Just seconds after, Cade sneaks in his quick hands to grab the butter sitting inside the bowl.
He then gobbles it all in an instant, Nana even tries to wrestle him out, but Cade is just too strong and too fast. Are you starting to figure out why the internet loves him?
Next is the sugar. To measure it, Nana passes a measuring cup to the little chef. She helps Cade measure the sugar that they need for their cookie mixture.
As soon as the little boy dumps the sugar into the bowl, he swiftly sneaks another grab of its granules and dunks it all inside his mouth. Again, Nana tries to stop him but the little boy is just too quick.
For a second, Nana turns her back on Cade- which turns out to be her biggest mistake!
As soon as grandma’s eyes are away, he once again grabs the bowl and snacks on the block of butter. Then they measure a cup full of brown sugar and unsurprisingly, Cade tries to gobble on the entire measuring cup.
That’s too much sugar little boy!
Soon enough, what’s supposed to be a baking session turns into a wrestling match.
All Nana wants is to put all the ingredients together in the bowl and mix it, but this hungry chef wants otherwise.
All she could do was laugh at her grandchild’s hilarious display of appetite.
She then mixes the ingredients that they have “so far” in the bowl using an electric mixer. You might want to take your hands off of this one little guy!
And then, for the eggs…
Wait, we know that raw eggs are used for baking, but could it be that?
“No eating eggs! Crack and put it in.”
Well, yes! He does it again! He doesn’t care much about the egg even if it’s raw, he again grabs the slimy ingredient and puts it in his mouth.
“Oh my God! That’s raw egg!”
Hmm, how does that one taste, Cade?
And he did the same to the rest of the ingredients.
The flour, baking soda, cinnamon, oats, and chocolate bits, he tries to get a good taste at each of these. He is simply not letting an ingredient pass his taste test.
“Show them what you got in your mouth.”
Cade then opens his mouth wide enough for the viewers to have a sneak of the ingredients (some raw) that he is munching inside.
After their wrestling match, I mean, after the baking, cookies are finally ready!
Nana asks Cade if he’s going to eat the cookies, probably because he may already have been full from the simple ingredients.
The little boy unhesitantly lets out a resounding yes!
He grabs one cookie for himself and then grabs another one and hands it over to Nana. What a sweet kid!
All the strenuous and hilarious moments have finally paid off. We are all sure that those cookies are delicious, why? Because it’s a recipe of love!
