There is nothing more upsetting than purchasing a big slice of pizza at a sports game only to find that the slice is super tiny. The actual size of the slice was obscured by the large box. It’s basically bite-sized.
Is it really a container of strawberries and blueberries if the package only contains two blueberries? That is the question. We know it would make us feel a little tricked.
Apparently, you don’t get any more curly fries if you order a large over a medium. That’s how it appears when comparing the two orders next to one another. We would have to count the fries individually to verify the deceit.
You never know what you are going to get when purchasing a fruit. It’s so hard to tell if the piece of fruit is ripe or not. Although, we didn’t realize that the same thing applies to lemons as well.
They put just enough cranberries in this cranberry chocolate bar to fill up the window in the front of the package. It makes it seem like the whole bar is going to be covered, but it’s definitely not.
The advertised Cotton Candy McFloat looked absolutely delicious. However, the in-store version didn’t turn out quite as tasty looking. Unfortunately, fast food is almost always disappointing these days.
One can says it is now 30% bigger and the other says that it is 40% bigger compared to the old version. Which one is correct? Both are the exact same size.
On the top of the bottle, it says it is 100% fruit juice. Although, it’s important to read the fine print. Down by the nutrition facts, it states that it is only really 27% juice.
The chocolate is supposed to be applied to the vanilla ice cream. At least, that’s what the image on the package shows. Yet, the reality is that it’s part of the cone that is covered.

The syrup claims it is fortified with vitamins and minerals. On the top of the container, it even says they added calcium. If you look at the nutrition facts though, it contains zero percent of the mineral.
This cheeseburger was purchased from the streets of Manila, Philippines. The cook attempted to trick the customer by placing a small sliver of cheese on the edge of the bun. It’s a pretty hilarious cost-cutting measure.
This sandwich is extremely deceptive. They packaged it so it appears as though it is stuffed with all sorts of delicious fillings. The reality is they only put a small sliver of fillings right on the edge.
Tweety isn’t as cute in ice cream form as the graphics would lead you to believe. For starters, his eyes are completely crazy. He definitely doesn’t look like the fun cartoon character we all know.
On the left is the original size bag of Lay’s. On the right is the “new bigger size”. It’s significantly smaller. There must be something that we aren’t getting here…

Let’s put all of the pepperonis on the visible part of the pizza. That will encourage people to buy more. At least, that’s what we imagine the marketers and designers were thinking.
If you buy a seedless watermelon, the idea is that it doesn’t have seeds. We’re not sure what is really going on with this one, but we definitely see some seeds there. Maybe it was mislabeled?
The lollipop doesn’t actually look like a panda. That’s just the graphic on the plastic. Unless you are paying very close attention when buying it, you won’t even notice until afterward though.
Most people assume Arizona ice tea, an American company, makes their tea in America. Although, that isn’t always the case. This can was produced in Canada.
One thing you’ll learn with package design is that things don’t always work the way they are supposed to. Sometimes, it means a lid is impossible to get off of a jar. This time, it was the “to open push here” label that wasn’t functioning.
We suppose if you try to make a gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free pizza, this is what you get. They certainly were very liberal with their use of the term “pizza”. It doesn’t look like any pizza that we’ve ever seen.
There are zero nuts on the top of this nut brownie. We can see a couple of tiny stray nuts hidden in the center, so it’s not a total loss. But still, we’d definitely classify it as a fail.
All of the pickled herring in this container is packed up against the edges so it looks totally full. However, the center is just a bunch of oil. It’s pretty misleading.

This bakery lined up a bunch of thin slices of meat next to the edge of the sandwich to make it appear as though it was really stuffed. They did the same thing with the tomatoes. It’s a pretty deceptive practice.
The consumer thought it was going to be a big package of salmon, but it was missing about 2/3 of the fish. As far as we can tell, it doesn’t even look like a normal fillet
There’s nothing worse than a cookie that is light on the filling. That’s what this brand did with theirs. They must have been hoping that their customers wouldn’t notice.
The person paid two dollars extra to get avocado added to their sandwich. It got them one miniature sliver of it. To get a reasonable amount of avocado, you would probably have to pay twenty bucks.
