However, preparing meat is a special kind of pleasure. Rita Struglia, an Italian cook, has gone the extra mile to make the content on her channel and blog catchy. Without further ado, let’s follow Rita’s uncomplicated instructions.

Grab 17.6 oz (500g) ground beef, two eggs, two tablespoons of breadcrumbs, cheese, four potatoes, vegetable oil, and some cumin, salt, and pepper.

Keep in mind that the amount of cheese is optional. For those of you who enjoy some extra cheese, feel free to do so. We were doing great with cca. 3.5 (100g) Gouda cheese. Now, take a big bowl and mix the meat, breadcrumbs, and two eggs inside.

Mix it until everything becomes nice and even. Of course, you’ll want to add some salt and cumin, too. The next in the line is the cheese. Cut it in nice, small cubes.

Take the pan and put some baking paper inside. Then spread the meat all over the pan; make sure to create a nice, thick layer.

Think of this step as if you were about to bake a meat pie. Spread the meat, but you’re not done yet. Take those cheese cubes and put them in the middle of the pan.

Roll the meat into a meatloaf. The cheese is supposed to stay in the middle. Pack the meatloaf in the baking paper. Seal everything nicely; that’s the trick for perfect baking. If you want the meat to be extra juicy, wrap it up in another layer of baking paper.

Cut all potatoes, and roll them in vegetable oil. Prepare the potatoes for baking, and put the meat in the center of the pan.

Potatoes need to be around the meat. Bake it for around half an hour on 180⁰C (346⁰F). Take it out of the oven, and take the baking paper off of the meatloaf. Prepare for the second round of baking. Put everything inside the oven one more time, and bake it for around 10 minutes at the same temperature.

Once you take it out, the meat should be nice and crispy. Check out the color on the photo below. Don’t overdo it. Once you start slicing the meat, you’ll see the melted cheese pouring all over the place. Indeed, the beauty is in simplicity.

Apart from the baking time, you won’t need more than ten minutes to prepare everything.

Yes, the meal is quick to make, and Rita captioned that her family is happy each time she makes it. We believe you, Rita. It sure looks like the meal that’s come straight from culinary heaven. Thousands of praise comments confirm how wonderful the recipe is. Bon Appetit.
