We’re about to turn your entire world upside-down (in the best way ever). Well–it’s Dairy Queen who should take the credit because they’ve released a new dipped cone flavor that is making people all over the country drool.
To celebrate spring, Dairy Queen released a Dreamsicle-flavored cone in a gorgeous, creamy, pastel orange color.
The official launch date hasn’t been explicitly released yet, but people have already started to see the delicious Dreamsicle-Dipped Cones in multiple locations across the country.
The Dreamsicle-Dipped Cone is made with a base of their delicious, classic vanilla soft-serve ice cream. Then, it’s covered in a “vibrantly colored, creamy orange and vanilla flavored coating,” said a DQ rep.
Since its ‘silent’ release, the cone has been earning praise from everyone who has tried it.
Some Dairy Queen locations have even started serving Dreamsicle dilly bars. Yes, please! If you haven’t seen this new dreamy flavor of a dipped cone in your local DQ–don’t fret. Rumor has it that they’ll be expanding to more stores come May 1.

They aren’t the only fast food chain releasing delicious treats
Dairy Queen isn’t the only fast food chain that has released or is releasing new food items. If your New Year’s resolution hasn’t gone down the drain yet, it’s going to be soon because these foods sound just too tasty (and naughty) to not try!
Taco Bell released a Naked Chicken Chalupa this past January. If you blinked, you probably missed it. It featured a piece of fried chicken as the ‘taco’ shell, with cheese, lettuce, and an avocado ranch sauce. So delicious!
Carl’s Jr., yes, the meat-loving, and meat-promoting fast food chain is now offering the plant-based burger Beyond Burger. They’ll be selling Beyond Famous Star burgers that are faux meat. They’re supposedly better for the environment, contain zero cholesterol, and actually taste pretty darn good!
Is your mouth watering yet? Earlier this year, McDonald’s introduced donut sticks to their menu. They’re strips of fried sweet dough then covered in a dusting of cinnamon and sugar. You can buy them in packs of 6 or 12.
Back to Dairy Queen…
We forgot to mention a few other new releases that Dairy Queen has in store for us–they’re too tasty not tell you about! DQ is also offering Chicken and Waffles on their menu. Warm Belgian waffles are served with crispy chicken strips with a side of maple syrup.
In addition to the Dreamsicle-Dipped Cone, Dairy Queen is also releasing Cake Shakes and Cupfections this spring. What are these, you ask? Well, let us tell you!
A Cake Shake is a piece of cake blended in ice cream–how yummy is that? And a Cupfections are “are basically pumped-up sundaes made with the brand’s soft serve paired with cake, brownies, fruit, sauces, and other toppings, all served in a cup. They’ll be available in two varieties, Summer Berry Cake and Brownie made with Oreo Cookie,” says Chew Boom.
As for their famous Blizzard line, they’ll be adding a Brownie Dough flavor and Caramel Cannonball flavor. It looks like I’ll be eating a Dairy Queen for every meal in the foreseeable future.
