Here are the ingredients:

  • 7 oz tomatoes (around 3 small tomatoes)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 2 ÂĽ cups + 6 ½ tablespoon plain flour
  • 6 spring onions
  • 1 cup cream cheese

First, dice the tomatoes.

Place the diced tomatoes in a mixer or food processor until they turn to a puree. Add the yeast and mix.

Transfer the tomato mixture to a bigger bowl.

Then, pour the flour and slowly mix them until it turns into a dough. You can use your hands to mix them when the mixture gets too thick and sticky for the ladle.

Let it stand for 15 minutes.

Knead the dough for one minute, then let it stand again for 30 minutes.

While waiting, you can make the sour cream and onion filling for your roll.

Just chop the spring onions and mix them with the cream cheese. Once this is done and your 30 minutes are up, it’s time to check the dough.

The dough should be perfectly soft by now.

Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape using a rolling pin. Spread the cream evenly throughout the dough’s surface.

Gently roll up the dough until the other end.

Slice the roll into even slices. Let it rest for another 30 minutes.

Prepare a steamer and line it with a baking sheet. Once the dough has rested, place them in the steamer and cook for 12 minutes.

Time to add a little crunch on these rolls!

Get a pan and drizzle some olive oil. Cook both ends of the buns in medium heat for 2 -3 minutes on each side.
