No one could have been more deserving of this!

It is once again that time of the year where giving and kindness is all around!

During Christmas or even before it, there’s this exchange of gifts between family, a circle of friends, and even colleagues, this idea is called “Secret Santa.” The purpose of Secret Santa is of course, for someone to receive a present from an anonymous person from the group.

Though sometimes (if not oftentimes), the result of having a Secret Santa is disappointing if not a total fail. It’s either you end up picking someone who is hard to please when it comes to surprise gifts, or you end up being picked by someone who just gives you unwanted stuff that they own.

The Secret Santa idea still depends on the thought that comes along with the surprise present. It’s just like what people always say about giving and receiving gifts.

It’s the thought that counts.

In Idaho, the Secret Santa idea has been not just a simple gift-giving but a life-changing event to someone. The EastIdahoNews.com team has set up their own Secret Santa mission and it’s by teaming up with a real-life Santa who chose to remain anonymous.

They plan to give away a massive amount of blessings to the chosen people. It’s not just about giving them something but more about giving them what they truly deserve in life. By the way, before I forget, they are giving $500,000 this holiday season.

How does that sound for a Secret Santa?

Get your tissues ready because this story will touch you.

Since the pandemic hit the entire world, the mobility of people has been limited, and most people have chosen to lock themselves at home to be safe and away from the coronavirus. However, not all people can afford to make the same decision, many people need to work, pay their bills, buy their everyday necessities in life, for medication, and just to simply survive life.

Diana Boldman is among these people.

She and her husband Cameron would wake up early to deliver newspapers all across Idaho Falls, driving a van that’s got nearly 240,000 mileage on it. But the day doesn’t end for Diana once they’re done delivering newspapers, because she still works at McDonald’s after that.

Especially now that her husband is on disability, she needs to earn more to provide for their everyday needs. Considering she’s already in her senior years, 65 to be exact, it is so heartbreaking to see her exhausting everything she could just to earn money.

After hearing the Bodlman couple’s story, the Secret Santa knew they deserve an early Christmas gift.

With the help of the East Idaho News team, the blessing was immediately set, and Diana had no idea what’s in store for her that day.

The news team went to McDonald’s where she’s having her shift. While she’s preparing some french fries, she was shocked when she turned with the camera already panned onto her.

It turned out she’s seen videos like this before and now it’s her turn to be on the video.

After a little talk with the hardworking Diana, it’s then time to deliver the good news.

They handed her a small green gift box and told Diana to open it. She took out a piece of paper and without even looking at the front part of it, we already knew it was a check. Also, the box was filled with gas cards.

To be specific, it’s a $1,000 check and gas cards worth $5,000.

It’s certainly not something she was expecting to receive that day.

They then told her there’s another surprise, but they left it outside. When they handed her over a car key, Diana already knew what’s waiting for her outside.

It’s a brand new SUV!

She’s totally surprised with all the blessings that she received on that day. Diana and Cameron were given another shot in life, a new beginning, and the timing couldn’t get any perfect than this.

She was out of words but she absolutely had some words to say to Secret Santa:

“Tell the Secret Santa thank you ever so much.”
