Step Three:

Put the cream cheese into a different bowl. (To soften the cream cheese, Crouton Crackerjacks heats his in the microwave for 10 seconds.) Stir it up so there aren’t any lumps left.

Now, add the powdered sugar to the bowl, and stir until the two ingredients are combined.

Step Four:

Get out a rolling pin and flatten each piece of bread with it. Also, cut off the crusts of the bread, leaving the slices square-shaped.

Step Five:

It’s now time to put your roll-ups together! Take about one teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture and smear it on the edge of a bread square. Then, place approximately a tablespoon of strawberries on top. Crouton Crackerjacks advises, “Not too much.”

Step Six:

Carefully roll the bread squares up with the fillings inside. You want them to be tightly-rolled, but not so tight that your bread rips.

Step Eight:

Let’s get cooking! In the video, the host’s griddle is on medium heat. He then adds in some oil, followed by a pat of butter.

Dip your French toast roll-up into the egg mixture, and place it into your pan with its seam-side down. This will help seal the seam. Repeat.

Step Nine:

After they’re golden brown, turn them a quarter way. Continue cooking until all sides of the roll-ups are golden brown.
