This nifty little food hack on the classic comfort meal comes to us from the food-wise folks over at Scrumdiddlyumptious, and people cannot stop raving about it! Why? Because easy has never tasted so good before.

Now, you might be thinking to yourself, “what’s so special about this recipe?” Well, we’ll tell you. It’s cheese!

According to the video caption, the only thing better than love is cheese!

Some people will have you think that the three most important words in the English language are: ‘I love you.’ Wrong. They’re actually: ‘Stuffed with cheese.’

And we couldn’t agree with that sentiment more!

The first step in making this tasty meal is to salt and cut your chicken.

Now, you don’t want to just slice it right down the middle. Instead, hold your chicken flat with one hand and make a shallow slice along the edges.

Then, poke your knife a little deeper into the chicken and slice toward the edges of your chicken breast, making sure not to cut all the way through.

When you’re done, you should have what looks like a chicken version of a pita pocket.

Next, you’ll open up your chicken and stuff it with the shredded mozzarella.

Make sure to only stuff it enough to where you can press the top fold of chicken down over the cheese and seal it in.

Repeat this process with all three chicken breasts.

After you’ve stuffed your chicken, set up your “dredging station”.

Place plenty of flour, your beaten eggs, and your bread crumbs in separate, wide, shallow dishes.

Then, take each breast and dredge it in the flour, dip it in the eggs wash, and then roll in the bread crumbs.

Heat a cast-iron skillet with frying oil to 350ºF and gently lay each breast in the pan.

Cook the stuffed chicken breasts until they are golden brown on each side.

As your chicken is cooking, pull out a casserole dish and pour in about 3/4 of your can of tomato sauce directly into it. Even it out with a spoon to cover the whole bottom of the baking dish.

Once your chicken has reached a delicious golden-brown color on all sides, lay each breast on top of the tomato sauce in the casserole dish.

Use your remaining sauce to spread a thick layer on top of the chicken breasts.
