Everyone’s probably been told by their doctor before that they need to eat healthier. Maintaining a healthy diet, however, is difficult. How do we know which foods to eat and which ones to eat in moderation?

Sure, we can look at the nutrition information, but serving sizes are usually a poor way of judging how much of a food you should eat. A healthy adult should consume around 2000-2500 calories a day. There are so many different food combinations you can make.

The people over at WiseGeek decided to create an experiment where they visualized what 200 calories looked like in different types of food. The results? I’m not going to lie, some of these pictures were quite surprising!

Please SHARE this with your friends and family. There’s no reason why we all shouldn’t maintain a healthy diet.
