Fortunately, making peach cobbler at home can be super easy.

Below are two recipes you’re going to want to try – especially if you’d prefer serving a dessert that isn’t store-bought. And if you want a glimpse into how simple it can be, the second peach cobbler recipe only requires three ingredients! No seriously, three.

“Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler”

The first peach cobbler recipe calls for a slow cooker, a kitchen appliance a lot of us love! Slow Cooking Perfected created a video to show how to make the mouthwatering treat.

Here’s what you’ll need:

(For the peach mixture)

  • 5 cups of sliced peaches without juice (canned or fresh)
  • 1/4 cup of white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg

(For the cake batter mixture)

  • 1 1/2 cups of self-rising flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk

(Additional ingredient)

  • 1/2 cup of butter (melted)

Step One:

Add the sliced peaches to a mixing bowl. Then, top them with the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir gently until the ingredients are combined. Set bowl aside.

Step Two:

Get out a different mixing bowl. Add in the flour, sugar, and salt. Pour in the milk and stir until the batter is smooth. Set bowl aside.

Step Three:

Pour the melted butter into the slow cooker and spread it evenly around the bottom.

Step Four:

Now, add the peach slices to the slow cooker.

Step Five:

Lastly, top the peaches with the cake batter. Cover and cook on low for approximately 3-4 hours (or until the middle is cooked).

If you want to get really, really simple – this is a peach cobbler recipe that practically makes itself. Yet, just because it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s not going to have your guests cheering!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of peaches
  • 1 box of cake mix
  • 1 stick of butter (sliced)

Step One:

Add the canned peaches (with juice) to a baking dish. Spread around evenly.

Step Two:

Sprinkle the cake mix on top of the sliced peaches.

Step Three:

Place the butter slices evenly around the baking dish, on top of the ingredients.

Bake at 350-degrees for 35 minutes.
